Hi! I am Bridgette Chambers; former transportation terminal manager turned Stay At Home Mom of three and Advocate.

I slowly began transitioning out of the 40-hour work week after I married my husband Jake in 2017, and became pregnant with our second daughter. In September of 2019 we received a prenatal Down Syndrome diagnosis for our youngest daughter, Cynthia. Through Cynthia’s diagnosis, our faulty normative perception about the makings of a good life as well as the overwhelming lack of resources for those with special needs was unveiled. Cynthia has since shifted my perspective drastically, and my heart bleeds for inclusion and the right to services for all.

Jesus was fierce. He was radically inclusive and I pray our fight makes my Momma heart a little more like Jesus. If I speak with love for justice and equality then I hope to live the life he intended for me. I am following His lead one bold move at a time and hoping to bring a piece of it to our community.
